I started running when I signed up for my first triathlon back in 2005. After having two babies, I started running again around 2009. Shortly after, my obsession with running the Disney Wine and Dine half marathon began. It wasn’t until November 2012 I ran my first half marathon. Disney Wine and Dine would have to wait another year. I finally ran in it 2013 and it was amazing.
But the point of this blog post is the new Mizuno campaign: What if everybody ran? Mizuno hired a group of statisticians to run the numbers. See what I did there?
I’m definitively more of a morning runner than a night runner. I find that if I just get up and go my run gets done. If I postpone it for the evening, I start finding excuses to stay in and clean the closets for instance. Who does that?
With all of that extra energy spent on running and waking up early to get my runs in, I definitively fall asleep faster on running days.
This has to be my favorite. I’m always encouraging my girls to go play outside. While I’ve been running on a treadmill more lately, I definitively enjoy running much better outside.
These are the Mizuno Hitogamis I won in a twitter chat with FitFluential and Mizuno. I hope this inspires you to get out there and enjoy the outdoors. Even if you are not a runner, start walking today. Your body will thank you later.
