Would you like to pick your own strawberries?  If you are ready to spend a day with some succulent, juicy berries and you are not afraid of a little bit of dirt, then it’s almost time to head on out to Hillsborough County and find out what a day of picking berries is all about.  We have quite a few farms available for u-picks here in the Plant City, Dover and Riverview Area.

Spivey Farms

Pick your own Strawberries at Spivey Farms in Plant City, FL

Spivey Farms is located at 6101 County Road 39 South in Plant City, FL.  They’re usually open for “you pick” in March from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Mondays through Saturdays, and 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Sundays.  Spivey Farms charges $1.00 for 2 quarts.  Please remember to bring cash and call them first to verify they are open.

Shady Acres Farm

Shady Acres Farm is located at 3420 Gallagher Rd, Dover FL.  They are now open and will stay open through mid April.
