Plant City is well known for its annual Strawberry Festival which brings thousands of people to our little town in celebration of our winter harvest. But did you know, that Keel & Curley Winery celebrated their 5th Annual Blueberry Festival this weekend?
Keel & Curley Winery is located off Branch Forbes Road in Plant City. The Winery is best known for their Blueberry Wines. Not sure which one you’d like? No problem. During the Blueberry Festival, they offer a wine tasting area where you can try all of their wines.
There was quite a turn out of people to check out the Blueberry wine as well as the Blueberry picking. We had a great time seeing some of our regular customers as well as making new friends.
Keel & Curley provided a free bounce house and giant inflatable slide for the kids. There was also a clown doing face painting and balloon art. It would not be a festival without festival food, so there were hot dogs, burgers, giant turkey legs and even tacos. A couple of lemonade stands, smoothies and yes, they even had blueberry shortcake! Other vendors included honey, orchids, cupcakes, razzle dazzle shirts, blueberry shortcake, Viktoria Richards chocolates and the cutest “Merry-time Art Tiki Bar Signs”.
Looks like a really fun festival!
It was really fun. They estimated 6000-7000 people attended. We are hoping to be there again next year.
